Job Opportunities at Chillingham Castle

Chillingham Castle is a 13th century, Grade 1 Star-listed stronghold in Northumberland, famed for action and battles. With its fine rooms, gardens, lakes, fountains and tea room, the castle has an extraordinary ownership bloodline which runs back to the 1200s.

We re-open our doors to the public on 1st April and are looking for a part time steward, 3 days a week, to include one weekend day.
You would meet and greet guests as they venture through the castle, answering any questions they may have and telling them about the history of this magnificent castle (training will be given).

We also require a housekeeper to help with our 8 self-catering apartments which are open all year round and also the cleaning of the castle itself.
We can offer 40 hours a week dropping to 32 hours from 6th November 2023 – applicants must be able to work weekends.
