Located in the heart of the ancient castle, access is up two flights of stairs (35 steps in total). The fine Elizabethan Long Gallery, with its timbered ceiling, has a magnificent early carved chimney piece over a wood burning stove and has superb garden views. The open plan kitchen, dining and living areas are in this Long Gallery. Some rooms also overlook the great mediaeval courtyard. No children under 10 years of age.
